2026 Summer Food Drive: July 20 – July 31
Langley is hosting a donation drive from July 20th to July 31st at all branch locations to support our local foodbanks who are working diligently to serve children and families experiencing food insecurity in the summer. Many families across the communities we serve rely on school meal programs for access to nutritious food for their children, and with school being out for the summer, less accessibility to those meals can be tough on families already struggling to make ends meet. Through summer food programs, local foodbanks are working tirelessly to meet this growing need. Please consider supporting this important initiative that is bridging a much needed gap in services!
HOW TO HELP! Donation boxes are available at all Langley branches. We invite employees, members, and the community to participate in the drive. Please encourage friends and family to contribute!

- Baby food and formula

About Langley’s Summer Food Drive:
In 2025, Langley hosted a Summer Food Drive from July 21st to August 1st to support our local foodbanks who work diligently to serve children and families experiencing food insecurity in the summer when access to school meal programs are limited. Langley’s employees, members, and friends across our community stepped up to help our local foodbanks bridge this much needed gap in services. We are excited to share that a total of 4,221 pounds of food was donated in 2025 – DOUBLED compared to 2024, where a total of 2,064 lbs of food was donated. Our local foodbanks shared that the collective contributions in 2025 provided an incredible 5,148 meals to children and families in need across our communities!

We are so grateful for the overwhelming generosity of all who contributed, and hope you will consider participating again in 2026 to help our local foodbanks meet this growing need!
