Langley For Families Foundation hosted its 6th Annual Charity Golf Classic on September 29th at Golden Horseshoe Golf Club in Williamsburg. Despite challenges from COVID-19 and inclement weather, the event raised $380,000 in gross proceeds, the highest in its history!
Langley For Families Foundation donated 100% of the net proceeds from its latest cash raffle fundraiser – a total of $37,000 – to COVID-19 emergency recovery funds at two local United Way agencies. United Way of the Virginia Peninsula received an $18,500 donation for immediate financial assistance to individuals and families.
Langley Federal Credit Union employees, friends and family members honored Martin Luther King, Jr. on January 20, 2020 by volunteering throughout the Hampton Roads community. A total of 213 volunteers worked a combined 1,214 hours to make a difference and honor Dr. King’s legacy.
