United Way of South Hampton Roads Thanks Langley for COVID-19 Support

Langley For Families Foundation donated 100% of the net proceeds from its latest cash raffle fundraiser – a total of $37,000 – to COVID-19 emergency recovery funds at two local United Way agencies.

Both United Way of the Virginia Peninsula and United Way of South Hampton Roads received an $18,500 donation. The agencies are providing immediate financial assistance to individuals and families affected by the coronavirus and the resulting financial impact.

“We can’t thank Langley enough for supporting the Coronavirus Recovery Fund,” said Michelle Anderson, President & CEO at United Way of South Hampton Roads. “And to those on the front lines at Langley, we say thank you for serving our community.”
