Langley for Families Gives Big Hearted Donation to Support Homeless Shelter

Langley for Families Foundation donated $15,000 to Menchville House for support of their emergency housing facility and services provided to local homeless families. The donation will fund one month of services for the organization. Menchville House is a forty-six bed emergency housing facility for homeless families, located in the Denbigh area of Newport News on Warwick Blvd. The agency works with other homeless service providers and social service agencies that offer families the services and support needed to return to self-sufficiency

“At Menchville House we believe that everyone should have daily nutritious meals and a clean, comfortable and safe place to refocus as they strive to regain their independence. Langley for Families’ generous donation will help us further our mission of providing a temporary home to homeless families as they pursue their efforts to secure permanent housing.”
